1. Original Artwork & Process

  • Are all paintings original and handmade? Yes! Every canvas is an original, one-of-a-kind abstract expressionist piece created in my Helsinki studio. I use high-quality acrylics, heavy gels, palette knives, and mixed media to create rich, textured impasto surfaces.

  • How are the artworks signed and authenticated? Every original painting is hand-signed by the artist. Many pieces also feature my signature mascot sketch, title, and date on the back of the canvas, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

  • Will the colors look exactly as they appear on screen? I take great care to photograph all artworks in natural daylight to capture their true colors and textures. However, slight variations may occur depending on your screen settings and lighting. Additional videos or detail shots are available upon request!

2. Purchasing & Custom Commissions

  • Do you accept custom artwork commissions? Yes, I love working with clients to create bespoke pieces tailored to specific color palettes, dimensions, and interior spaces. Please reach out through the Contact form or email arliahelmiart@gmail.com to discuss your vision.

  • Can I reserve or place a hold on a painting? If you are interested in a specific piece and need time to decide, please contact me directly to discuss short-term reservation options.

3. Charity & Collaborations

  • Can you donate a piece to our charity? I would be honored to collaborate with your charity event! Please get in touch using the contact form below or send an email to arliahelmiart@gmail.com.

    In your request, please include:

    • The mission and aim of your organization

    • Details about the selected event

    • Key deadlines (artwork completion, delivery, and showcase date)

    I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a quick meeting and dive into the details! (Please note that the charity or organizer is responsible for artwork shipping fees.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Packaging

  • Do you ship internationally? Yes, I ship original artworks worldwide! All canvases are carefully wrapped in protective materials and sturdy custom packaging to ensure they arrive safely at your doorstep.

  • How long will it take to receive my painting?

    • Within Finland / Europe: Typically 3–7 business days.

    • International Orders: Usually 7–14 business days, depending on customs and location.

    • Local pickup or studio visits in Helsinki can also be arranged by appointment!

  • How are shipping costs calculated? Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the artwork size, weight, and destination.

5. Framing & Artwork Care

  • Do the paintings come framed or ready to hang? Most canvases are painted around the edges (gallery-wrapped) and arrive ready to hang as-is for a modern look. Floating frames can be added upon request—feel free to ask for framing recommendations!

  • How should I care for my impasto artwork? Keep your painting away from direct, harsh sunlight and extreme moisture. To clean, gently dust the textured surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a delicate duster. Never use liquid cleaners or water on acrylic impasto surfaces.
