The Exhibition The Route of  LEONARDO DA VINCI

“The Route of Leonardo da Vinci” is the title of the international itinerant art exhibition organized by Artestruttura and the Asmalimescit Art Gallery of Istanbul, in collaboration with the International Association “Le Vie di Leonardo da Vinci” and the de Claricini Dornpacher Foundation, to pay homage to the Universal Genius. The event consists of eight exhibition locations: Bottenicco di Moimacco (UD), Vinci (FI), Vipava (Slovenia), Amboise (France), Adana, Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul (Turkey). The first exhibition venue is the stunning  Villa de Claricini Dornpacher in Bottenicco di Moimacco (UD). The exhibition presents around fifty international artists from Italy, France, Slovenia, and Turkey, who were asked to produce a work of art in honor of Leonardo da Vinci. Painting predominates among the various works, but there are also sculptures, mixed media, and digital sculpture. For the occasion, an English-language “ItaliArts” catalog was printed, presenting all the participating artists through a short biographical text and an image of the work created.

"In 2023, the Foundation is proud to have the opportunity to host and participate in "THE ROUTES OF LEONARDO" project by including Villa de Claricini Dornpacher in the European cultural itinerary that features Italian, Slovenian, French, and Turkish artists exhibiting works of high artistic and cultural value under the emblematic name of Leonardo da Vinci. The ambitious goal of creating a dialogue between nations and cities by featuring artists inspired by Leonardo's masterpieces holds a special educational value by promoting a unique interweaving of cultures and civilizations."
